About Membership

The Eugene Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America (IWLA Eugene) is a private range and is only open to the public during specific events. When you join IWLA Eugene, you will also join the national Izaak Walton League of America and support the conservation mission of the organization. Individual and Family memberships are offered. Individual membership costs $185 to sign up and a Family membership costs $280 to sign up. These amounts include the cost of your gate fob.

Membership in IWLA Eugene allows full use of the range for you and your guests during the hours it is open. The range is sometimes closed or reserved for specified events or due to fire risks so be sure to check the website News and Updates and calendar before coming to the range. You will access the range by using your membership gate fob.

How to Join

To join IWLA, you need to print, complete, and sign the Range Use Agreement & Release, then attend a new member orientation. When you attend the new member orientation, you will need to bring the completed form, your drivers license or other photo ID, and a method of payment. Cash, check, and Credit/Debit Cards are accepted for payment.

Please bring photo ID with you to New Member Orientation!

During the new member orientation, you will learn about the chapter, the range, the range rules, safety rules, and other pertinent information for members. You will also receive your gate fob.

New member orientation is typically the fourth Saturday of each month. Please check the calendar to see when the next orientation is.

If you cannot ever attend a Saturday new member orientation, reach out to membership@izaakwaltoneugene.org to inquire about scheduling an orientation on a different day.

The next New Member Orientation will be October 25, 2025 (No September Orientation). New Member Orientation is usually held monthly on the 4th Saturday (same day as Maintenance Day); Please see our Calendar for any additional updates.

While you are waiting for the Orientation to start, you can earn Workbond credit by helping with setup and/or clean up around the Pistol Pits and picnic shelter.
