Bays 3 & 4 Drainage Improvements
Goodbye and good riddance mud pits!
You may have noticed new ditches on the sides of the bays in 3 and 4, which were the first step in laying new drainage pipes and cisterns that will catch any lead particulate in the water runoff. We’ve finished laying the pipe and cisterns so these bays should drain much better and be far less muddy when the rains hit.
This was a major project and our maintenance lead and board Vice President, Garl Grigsby, deserves huge shoutout for the many days of work he’s done to make it happen! In addition to Garl, several volunteers helped to make this improvement become a reality.
Remember, we’re an entirely volunteer run organization and you can help with the next improvements you’d like to see.
